RHEL5 desktop or server
 
i down loaded from their site the dvd iso but when i boot it from usb stick im not sure if its the sevre version or dsk top i. im still stuck on how to in stall. is 4gb usb stick big enough. now all i want to do is put install to the usb stick so it can be portable. do i have to create a partition for this? I already made one just in case.
i dont want to install on my computer i want to install on usb stick i wrote it to the stick with ultra iso. it boots up then i get to where it asks you country language etc.
help please.

you do know that REHL is not free , right.
pay for it and ask the sails rep .

or install CentOS 5.4
that is the free version .However cent/rhel is GREAT as a server and office , but NOT so good for home use .

Redhat has gone the M$ shit ways, because it took freely community contributed software and made it into a commercial product. It also has the broken software (latest development code not tested for release yet, of software GNU software) for the Fedora community to get frustrated and report problems and bugs as a testing grounds before software goes into Redhat. I say if you must go with Redhat look into CentOS instead of supporting Linux as a commercial software. For a desktop, Debian was created on good principles, and many of it's derivatives are nice too.
