RHEL unable to set a user's ulimit (openfile)
 
I tried editing the file /etc/system/limits.conf file to add the lines
usr1 soft nofile 4096
usr1 hard nofile 4096
but the value is not getting changed. The present value is 1024.

isnt it # /etc/security/limits.conf
