RHEL 5 how to make a bootable dvd please help

Hello,

For home testing purpose to being into the world of linux i downloaded RHEL 5 from torrent now after unzipping it into a folder i copied it as it is to a DVD but its a nonbootable.
everything unzipped seems to be fine but still i m not able to boot it.
there is a folder isolinux in the unzipped content

Can any 1 please help me and give me clear steps for making a bootable DVD.

I am new to linux so please if possible give me detail help.

Hi,

Welcome to LQ
You need to burn the ISO to DVD, not copy the files.
In you burning software look for
"burn ISO" or "burn image"

I wonder how you have unzipped an ISO image file. Or maybe you just downloaded something else, instead of the system ISO file.
