Rhel 5/6

Which is closer to RHEL 5/6, Fedora 14, Centos 5.5 or another distro? In terms of installation and administration.

Thanks,
Mike

Centos5.5 IS RHEL5.5 with the proprietary stuff(mostly logos) stripped out. Centos takes RHEL's source rpms, stips out the proprietary stuff, and then builds Centos.

CentOS 5.5 is built from the RHEL5.5 source.

If, however, you're trying to get a head start on learning RHEL6, then Fedora is my recommendation (because CentOS 6 hasn't been released yet).

CentOS 6 should be out in about a month, according to their Twitter feed.

Also you can download a free 30-day trial straight from Red Hat if you want to evaluate the product.

Thank you all!

Where can I find the system requirements for CentOS 5.5. I searched all over their site and got no where.

The answer will of course depend on what type of system you're deploying. :)
