Smile RHCE Configuration server part quick manual?


Hi, i am study on RHCE. One thing make me too waste a time and also headache is the Services configuration, example: 1. Kernel services & Configuration, 2. Apache & squid, 3.Samba server, 4.Domain name service, 5. Electronic mail... i have try to find the info how to configure all these thing on web, but mostly is very complete and confuse, because i am a begineer, i need is very simple and quick common configuration setting than after than i will try to get the full and complete configure on the official website like apache.org. Any body can help me on this Configuration?

Maybe you should buy a book that you can use for reference. Red Hat Fedora Unleashed and RHCE Red Hat Certified Engineer Linux Study Guide are good for info on using Red Hat/Fedora on servers.

The Howtoforge website will have a lot of visual guides to help you achieve most (if not all) of what you want. It talks about CentOS which is a redhat based distro: http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect_setup_centos5.0 there are also sections for samba etc.
