RHCE certification.
 
Hi All,

This is my first post.if any thing which needs to be corrected please let me know.
Right now I am working with a job scheduling tool(Dollar Universe) which runs on Linux O.S.(Rhel v6), my job is to schedule the job for SAP,DB. and also take care configuration and administration part of tool.
Now i want to build my carrier as Server Administrator of Linux O.S.
so i wanted to certify my self in RHCE certification.but i am stuck with v6 and v7,please help me to choose, shall i go with RHCE v7 or RHCE v6?

7. Most of what you learn in any version is going to be applicable to newer and older versions (not everything, but most), but the newer version stays relevant longer.

For certification perposes certainly 7. It'll be good for three years. If you are going to work in the field you'll certainly be working on 6 & 5 servers, but you can probably figure out what you need for the older oses with google's help.
