I just installed rh9 over rh8. it is ok so far. but after about an hour the mouse seems to freeze, the keyboard becomes disabled. and the caps lock and scroll lock on my keyboard blink constantly. i thought linux is suppose to be really stable.

Is this on a laptop? cause I had the same problem and it turned out that when I used a usb mouse it shared the same IRQ with my keyboard, and after a few min it would become disabled. so I switched to using a ps2 mouse solving all my problems

Angry Kernel Panic

Some error or conflict occurred and the kernel panic.

You can take a look at the /var/log/messages file, all errors are logged by time and date.

That's a good question.
Anything related to Error, Fail, Failure, etc... in the X service.

Also,
- Are you using any USB devices ?
- Have you upgraded any RPMs lately, right before the problem occured.
