RH9 clie sj30 sync problems

I recently installed RH9 on a HP Pavion N5450 laptop. My next big task is to set my handheld up. USB seems to be working as I'm using a wireless USB keyboard to type this.

Can't seem to get pilot link to recognize the device, I did manage (don't know what I did) to get kpilot to link once yesterday, but today it's not syncing, neither is gnome pilot. I'll keep working obviously, but if you have suggestions please let me know. Currently I have the device directly to the USB port, but woul dlike to run it from a hub so I can use my USB cd-burner and SD media reader as well with out changing cables.

Check out that link. It seemed to work for them. I couldn't get it to work (yet) but it's worth a try.
