RH9 and Win XP on 2 HDs

I recently installed RH 9 on a new HD and have been swapping it out with my other HD that had WinXP on it. Now I was going to dual boot it, but when I started my research on doing this, most places stated that they need to be on the same disk within the first 1024 bytes.

Can anyone tell me a way to dual boot it with the two separate hard drives?

Thanks,

Have linux installed on primary HD. Unhook the hard drive. Reboot with Windows XP cd in the cd drive. Install Windows XP on that HD. Hook both hard drives back in. boot up linux. To be prompted which to boot up, you need to add a command line to GRUB (which i have a post about because i am unsure of the command line)

Thanks thefetus for that information. That should help me out nicely too.

Thanks - So just to make sure I'm on the right page:
1) RH9 should be the master drive
2) WinXP should be the slave
3) use GRUB to determine which to boot from (need to edit via command line)

The newer versions of GRUB (and I believe LILO, although I could be wrong) have overcome the "1024 rule". I know for a fact GRUB has, and as long as you install XP first, you should have no problems dual booting on the same drive.
