The listener call is failing. You say you get "some error", now you get different errors. Which did you post?

The best thing you could do is to contact Oracle, and open a support call. Oracle RAC is very well supported.

this forum has replied related type of error(cm connection error) that is why i have approached this forum. The error which i have posted is the one i get. However oracle has suggested to go for 9.2.0.8 patch. Though the same configuration and same application in another site in our organisation is running fine. In that site we get no error like this. Both systems have same version and patches of oracle. As I have some doubt about os level parameter/connections internally. please suggest. Our hardware is HP4640 SAN system storage EVA storage system. OS is RH Linux Advanced Server 2.1. Oracle uses OCFS(oracle cluster file system). If any further information required please tell me.

If Oracle is suggesting a course of action, I'd certainly go with what they said.
