RH linux 8.0 installation hung

We are trying to install Redhat linux 8.0 on a HP/Compaq Proliant 380 H/W and experiencing difficulties when it is trying to retrieve the package "wine-20020605-2" from CD 3 of 3. The installation is almost complete with only 42 seconds left and it is a 21 MB file, it has been hung at this stage for about 20-30 minutes, we have tried reinstalling a few times, but no use. We have configured a single partition (/) (after deleting the default setup of /usr/, /var, /home etc...) and a /boot partition. Not sure what is going wrong and how to proceed from here. BTW, the first 2 CD's of the OS went through fine and did not have any problems at all (and we did not come across any issues when we were burning the OS image to all the 3 CD's either). Also, we are not sure if there is a way to ask the installation process to skip this package and move forward with completing the installation process.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't gotten very far in the Red Hat installer (I'm new to Linux and was having different problems) but there definitely should be a way to skip it. There is a software selection section in the installer, yes? wine is a Windows emulator, so you may be able to uncheck it or keep from checking it or whatever (:p) under such a category (emulators, etc...) You could always go for a minimal install and then install your software from inside Linux later...
