RH install problems...

Hey, i already d/l the iso twice... Both times the media check results fail but each disk has its own error...

On the first one at about 58% of the minimal installation it says it can't unmount the cd, and that i should check if im not accessing it from shell. Ofcourse im not, i can't continue i can only press ok but then it appears again so i have to restart.

The second cd gets past that point but then at 64% precent it tells me a file is missing and i can save the error, quit the installation or debug.

The missing file might be on my first cd, how can i debug so that i will take the file from my first installation disk. (I reach some text based debug mode). I want to swich the disks and tell the setup to continue.

After downloading the iso's, you might want to consider checking the md5sums so you know they match up before burning them.

This website explains md5sums for you: http://www.linuxiso.org/viewdoc.php/verifyiso.html

Yeah, thanks, but isn't there any command that would just search for the missing file on the other disk or on my other HD, so i don't have to D/L and burn again...

Thanks.

Also i only D/L the first cd's iso, and the md5sum is for the full 5 cds i think... I D/L from redhat's ftp.

Hmmmmm, maybe if im more specific:
When i press the debug button I get to a DOS-Like screen, i can type all sorts of commands...
And i need to tell the install to open the cd, then i replace a disk. and then i tell it to find the missing file on that disk.
Can anyone at least lead me to a list of commands?
