Post RH enterprises 5 -display " out of range"

I have installed redhat enterprises 5 in my AMD phenom processor with Asuz mother board with ATI graphics. But during restart after installation it shows "Out of range " and hangin up..

i have done the display configuration using "system-config-display"
i could change the resolution but i could neither select the monitor from the list nor the generic monitor..

again after restarting only mouse is seen on the screen..nothing else..

pls discuss..

regards

Is this the primary display, or do you have more than one?
