johnsandidge LQ Newbie Registered: Aug 2003 Location: atlanta, georgia, usa Distribution: Suse Posts: 1 Rep:	RH 9 Soundcard detected; sound w/ xine, mplayer; none w/ xmms, cd player Sound card is detected (but not as the actual card it is, turtlebeach santa cruz). sample sound plays. xine and mplayer play dvd and cds w/ sound; no sound w/ xmms or cd player, even though the cds are being played as indicated by the players windows. HELP! Thanks in advance, John
