RH 9, Netz und DNS Config, Fehler "set visible hostname"
 

Introducion:
I use RH since 7.3 and now I try to make RH 9 to my alt. platform for music production. There is some trouble with my system, i.e. the Squid Error "set visible hostname". RH 9 is fine and I like to use it, but my english is not as well to describe my probs. Please excuse me that I now use german to describe my probs. Befor my probs. in english:
Squid doesn`t work, Error with "unqualified hostname"
Sendmail doesn`t work properly, unable to send mails
FireWall doesn`t work properly, IP-Tables not correct.
Now German:
Ich habe Probleme bei der Konfiguration des Netwerkes auf meiner Maschine. Das System und die angeschlossenen Komponenten können asap angegeben (sind RH 9 alle bekannt und korrekt eingebunden)
Ich möchte diesen Computer mit folgenden Namen betreiben:
localhost 127.0.0.1 alias Voyager als host
Voyager als IP 10.0.0.10
Ich möchte folgende Konfiguration erreichen. Die Namen sollen sein:
als Mail-Server oops.Voyager mit IP 10.0.0.11
als Web-Server warp.Voyager mit IP 10.0.0.13
als FTP-Server drive.Voyager mit IP 10.0.0.15
Anschluß Internet: T-DSL, Flatrate (deutsche Telekom)
Systemstatus: per Fernadministration erreichbar (auf Anforderung)

Die FireWall soll so scharf geschaltet sein, daß nur von mir erlaubte Dienste und Aktivitäten passieren dürfen.

Ich habe versucht, mich in das Thema Netzwerk und DNS eizuarbeiten - ich bekomme das nicht hin und brauche Hilfe, (in diesem Fall nur einmalig) denn ich bin Musiker, kein Tecki.

Is it Possible to answer in german? I think the better way is to log in onto my machine, configure it properly and then (thats my job) to backup the /etc/ dir (or any else).
