Rh 9
sorry for a stupid question, but where can i dl RH9 ISO for intel.
Is there are any fast servers?? thank you |
the mirror sites on redhat.com there are various places
i prefer the .gov sites i think they are super fast also linuxiso.org i personally get fast speeds off there also |
while we're on the subject...is there a listing of contents somewhere, for the rh9 ISOs? i am wondering whether i need all 3 discs for a basic workstation installation, or do i need all three? is the third, as often before, a supplementary application disc?
|
YES, you need all three. Because Redhat (unfortuantly) doesnt just let you install software from one(two) discs. So it will mess up the install (not work) if even one package is on another disc that you don't have.
|
yah cause things like kde-addons and rpmdb and along with the other 458 rpms are on this disc...so you'll most likely need it.
