rh 8.0 standard kernel 2.5.74


i am trying to make a linux virtural server and at the moment i need to recompile the kernel for the director but for some reason i keep getting errors i follow what the readme says and what help files i have found have sed dose anyone know where i can find some very good help files? i get the errors during the make bzImage command usally the make ends itself with a "ERROR 2" well thanks for your time and if you need more info let me know. i am greatful for any help i can get.

2.5 is the unstable branch of the kernel. I suggest that you try either 2.4 or 2.6.
