RH - 8.0 RPM's on 7.3?

Hello..
I was curious if it was OK to install rpms for RH 8.0 on RH 7.3?

Basically I'm trying to update a couple of programs because of security vulnerabilities, but there are no RPM's available in current versions for 7.3 (i.e. OpenSSH).

So.. should I get the 8.0 rpm's to upgrade? Or should I try to compile from source distributions?

Any help is greatly appreciated..

I have done it and so far have not had any issues.

Good Luck
