RH 7.1 & GeForce 3

Hi, I recently installed Red Hat 7.1. During the setup, there were no drivers for my Geforce 3 video card. So, I picked a generic one, now, X does not start, because no correct drivers were to be found. My question is, does RH 7.1 even have drivers for this video card?

I remember seeing Geforce 3 in the Red Hat Hardware compatability list, but now I am unable to find it. If they dont exist, then where can I get a hold of them elsewhere? Anyone? All help is appreciated, whether great or small. Thanks!

Try the Xconfigurator. it will try to determine the vga, if it didn't select the appropriate one. if it still not working, check the vendor's website, or just search for it on the web.

You want the "nv" driver.

Once its working and not before head over to nvidia.com and download the nvidia binary driver for 3d support. To install it read the manual carefully (its on the driver download page - "readme")
