RH 5.1 : How to find if Advanced platform or Base server is installed?

Hi!

I have systems with RH 5.1 installed. I would like to find which variant of RH 5.1 (Advanced Platform or Base server) is installed.
Any suggestions to get that information?

Thanks!

Hi, welcome to LQ!

Does looking at /etc/redhat-release help?

Cheers,

On RHEL4 at least you can get this info from /etc/issue:
Code:
$ grep Linux /etc/issue
Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS release 4 (Nahant Update 7)
