Restrict root to use su <username>
 

Hi,

Is there way we can restrict root to su to normal user. Or at least a way to prompt for the password when root tries to su <username>

Nope, root is all powerful.

Why would you want this?

Hope this helps.

Its not possible you can't apply such rules to root (super user or administrator) user.

Don't give root to everyone, that's all.
