restoring winxp in the mbr?

A system used to have a GRUB in the MBR for multibooting
between WinXP and Linux. Now that the Linux partition is
gone, how do I recover WinXP in the MBR?

Is it "fdisk /mbr"? If so, does this apply for all Windows/DOS
as well or just a particular Windows?

"fixmbr" would probably work better for XP
