restarting X
 

hey guys how to restart X in ubuntu??
Please help me out.

restarting the computer would be the easiest way i think.

Or, try pressing ctrl-alt-backspace might work, unless its been disabled.

Im not sure if logouts would count as a restart.

Anyways restart the computer will work, always.

I usually Ctrl-Alt-Backspace. Seems to work fine.

I don't believe logging out actually restarts X, but I could be wrong.
