Please find output of /etc/inittab file .
Code:

Hi,
1) Is there any error while you issue the command? if so please list it out.
2) If not, please give me the last 10 to 15 lines of dmesg capture.

3) Is there a problem with init 0 or only with init 6?

init 6 or reboot should restart the machine but it is not happening

Hi

1) I want the capture after issuing init 6?
2) Did you check the same with other users?
3) Try stopping all Ethernet interfaces and then issuing reboot or init 6.
4) Please provide me capture of ps -ax after init 6.
