Unhappy Resseting email account password via Centos command line

Good day.

I need to reset a password for an email account via command line. Kindly provide the syntax.

Nobody here can tell you because you've provided no useful information.

Is this for an e-mail account hosted on the server? If so, what's the user authentication mechanism (local user account / user account within the POP3/IMAP server / Active Directory)?

Is it a remote account like your gmail account?

resseting email account password via centos command line

My apologies for that. The email account is on a Linux server being hosted by our service provider and its an account within pop3/imap. I can connect to the server via putty without any problems. Users can use Microsoft outlook to access their emails or login via webmail.
