resizing linux partitions to free up space for window$

First off, I DID search the forums and found some info, but I'm still confused.

I have Mandrake on 13GB HDD, love it. I want to resize its partitions to be able to install Win98 on another partition.

Q1: Is it safe to use the Mandrake installer disk utility for resizing partitions or will I lose linux?
Q2: Which partitions should I resize, home, /, or swap? (if I do it manually, I assume I will have to). I want a 3GB win partition.
Q3: Is QTParted the best option? (I haven't noticed anything about making room for Win partiton)

PS. I did read the article: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...icle&artid=196 (Installing Windows 98SE as a secondary OS on a Linux System), but it says it's for Red Hat distro.

I guess you didn't read it that good I glanced at it an it said any flavor of linux.

try qtparted but id backup data and mbr first

If you are using Mandrake, you can also just use diskdrake. It's in the Mandrake Control Center, under "Partitions", IIRC. (I'm at work on a Windows box right now, and can't check.)
