Resetting KDE and GNOME session to default
 
Gud mornin' guys (what eva)

i'm new to linux...anyway..i buy n choose 2 install RED HAT 9 on my system..i've done something wrong on those session and i just hate to install in over and over again..so..is there any method to RESET my kde and gnome session to default(like a new one after install)...ok..thats all.hope u all have the answers..tHanx.. :)

Look in your home directory for directories that start with a "." and have either "kde" or "gnome" in the name. For example,
~/.gnome2
~/.kde3.1
And so on. Log out of KDE and Gnome and delete these directories. i.e.
rm -R ~/.gnome2
rm -R ~/.kde3.1

This will reset most of the options in KDE and Gnome to default.
