Question reset video resolution

Just installed LIINUX tonight. My eyes are getting tired from the tiny characters on the screen. How do I decrease my display resloution?

The file that you need to edit may be one of the following:


If you can post the linux distro that you are using, someone might be able to tell you the configuration that you can use.

You might want to look at /etc/lilo.conf [if your distro is using that ;)]
and look for lines like
vga = 791

e.g. change to 788 for 800x600

man lilo and man lilo.conf for details :}
