Requirement of linux based project
 

I m an final year engineering student(IT). I m quite interested in linux and want to develop an linux based project. I m a bit confused regarding selection of an appropriate project idea. If available any, please me. I will be quite pleased to receive any kind of suggestions.

Other than that we don't what your ambitions are, what your previous projects were about, what skills you have or if you have any clue about GNU/Linux at all.
How could anyone offer suggestions based on that?
