Require some help with creating a bash-shell script and a few other questions

Hello, still pretty new to Debian and have a few questions I am confused how to do in Debian if anyone can help:

1. am required to create a bash-shell script called terminator that terminates all processes of a name given to the shell
script as an argument. Make sure the terminator shell script will not take any crucial file system services as arguments. Anyone have any ideas?

2. Show how you would configure an Ethernet card by
reapplying your existing IP and network mask

3. Install a workable nfs file sharing system between your
system and a remote system, using optimum values for
rsize and wsize.
To demonstrate send a 512Mb block of random data
between client and server using the dd command.
Write down the relevant steps and procedures

Many thanks if you can help with your spare time.

Sorry but you should realize that your question is not a proper one. Please review the Welcome to LQ FAQ guide for some assistance with this.

Specifically what I'm referring too is that this is homework or an assignment of some type, and the fact that you're asking for the equivalent of a hand-out versus putting in some effort and asking for assistance.

Regarding the BASH script, look up how to write a rudimentary script. There are links on that in my signature.

Similarly you can search a bit to find out how to generally configure networking in Linux, and you should do that so you can ask a specific question versus asking "how to".

While I agree with rtmistler's comments, here are a few pointers.

Learn how to use the Linux reference manual. For example, the command apropos kill would help with the first part of your assignment.

Here the power of search engines comes in. For example, "debian configure ethernet".
I have to admit that I don't quite understand "reapplying your existing IP".

To configure NFS on Debian, again use your favourite search engine. For example, the two first hits of https://duckduckgo.com/?q=debian+nfs point to the Debian wiki. To optimize rsize and wsize, again a web search should help. dd with random data - OK here is what I would do:
Code:
dd if=/dev/random of=somefileontheNFSserver bs=512M count=1
(disclaimer: May contain errors).
