Do you realize that is a source file, you have to compile the driver before you install it?

Is there some reason you do not want to use the drivers from buntu?

May I STRONGLY suggest that you move to a distro other than Backtrack. Seriously, Backtrack is meant for a specific purpose, and is not intended as a general purpose distro.

And if your interest is in cracking wireless routers, well, that is about as pointless a security exercise as there is.
