rename Fedora 3

After installing fedora 3 the computer got the name "Linux".
How do I rename it?
How do I set the IP-adress on a nettworkcard?

Many thanks

You can rename the computer with the command: hostname <new computername>
For example: hostname mudd

You can edit the network settings with the command: system-config-network
Note: that also has a hosts tab where you can change the hostname.
