removing programms
 

Hi all

i have RHEL 4 , when i installed it i asked to install all packages

now i want to remove some of them , but when i uncheck any of the

packages groups and click update i get an alert of missing packages ,

some times more than 10 packages , do i have to install the missing

package in order to remove the others ?


ie when i try to remove the sound and video programs i got

Packages Not Found

The following packages could not be found on your system. Installation cannot continue until they are installed.

yum remove your-package-name
 

yum remove your-package-name
(e.g. yum remove perl.i386 )
