Removing Firefox and other apps

I am runnning DSLinux on a p233mhz, 2GBhd, 32mbRAM, 128MBswapfile

What I am trying to figure out in Linux is how to remove programs that I don't need. I think I should have done a frugal install but now that I have everything configured how I like it I don't want to wipe it out and start over.

I would like to remove Firefox because I don't use the Internet on that computer. I have Dillo and it works fine for viewing local html files. I would like to free up as much HD space that I can by removing programs have no use on an un-networked machine.

read the man and readme and Uninstall files for that program- for firefox it's really easy and well laid out. (You just have to delete it) so yeah, the programs should tell you how to do it - in thier folder, or google online for specific programs.

if you installed linux from synaptic , apt or as a .deb then type :
apt-get remove mozilla-firefox (or firefox i cant remember now)

If you're looking to free up some space, deleting firefox won't help that much. You should look into big applications you don't use, e.g. if you don't plan on doing any image editing, you could delete the GIMP if DSLinux installed it on your computer.
