removing apache,PHP and MYSQL


Hi
Since i am new to linux,i have trouble uninstalling MySql,Apache and PHP whiich i installed from source.I am trying to prepare for snort installation and somewhere sum went wrong with the MySql, APache.Can someone tel me how should i uninstall the three packages?

i tried the rpm -e but too many dependencies.
didn know what to do about it
i am using fedora 5

Hi,

try to do rpm -e and post here it`s output. next step will depend on the kind of the dependenced packages, some of them may be ignored, other should be deleted, it really metter what you get in output.

You installed the MySQL Apache PHP stack from source ?
Which distro are you using ?

You will have to run "make uninstall" from the directories where you built the packages.
