Remove package on Linux

Hi,

I need help to remove/deinstall package from the linux node.

Linux version is Linux number1 2.4.21-4.ELsmp

When I tried to deinstall the package it gives following error

rpm -e OPC

/var/tmp/rpm-tmp.56411: line 1: /opt/OV/bin/OpC/install/itorpmpreun: No such file or directory

Earlier I excuted same command and while doing so power to server was accidently put off.

When I try to install the package it gives following error

rpm -i --nodeps OPC.rpm
package OPC-6.15-1 is already installed

Any help or advice

Thanks
Ashish

Try using the "--force" option.
