Remove machine from Domain


Looking how to remove a machine from the domain. It was loaded from samba. Just cant use yum remove samba.

I'm afraid that I can't visualize what you want to do, nor how you describe your situation. ("It was loaded from samba.") Please edit your post or add a new post which fully describes your present situation, what you've tried, and what you want to accomplish.

Read the "Question Guidelines" link in my posting signature. You've provided next to no useful details that would let anyone be able to help you. The only thing we can *assume* from what you posted is that you have a Red Hat based server joined to a Windows domain.

That said, if you've already managed to join your Samba server to the Windows domain, it's odd that you don't know how to remove it...especially since the smb.conf file has the domain details in it. Remove those, restart Samba, and you're removed from the domain. Do it manually via
