ok its been a few hours... 3.9 hours
it has rescued 0 B

Has anyone got any ideas on how to move forward?

If it has rescued nothing after about 4h I think that disk is seriously borked. If you have really valuable data on it I would recommend to ask a professional service for help, but this is very expensive.

i've tried the -R (in reverse copy function)
but to no avail..
looks like the costly way is the only way..
