Remote port/console when server is down

Is there any software or 3rd party utility to connect to server, when is is down? And is there any pory that we can connect?

From what it sounds like, you're looking for something along the lines of a "Management Card". The more pricey servers have something built-in, along with a "Mgmt" or "Console" port on the back that you can run a line to another system from.
(With the intent being that you could login to server A and then connect to server B's console when it's up, or tell the Management Card to power-on the server).

There are several products that tout themselves as a "Lights-Out Management Card", and their prices typically range from $100 to $1,000 (stay away from the sub-$100 ones, you *do* get what you pay for).

A word to the wise, if this is something that you're thinking of implementing across a dozen or more servers, review the cards carefully and get identical cards for all of the servers. After all, when a system is down, no one wants to waste time trying to figure out how to do one particular thing on 50 different cards.

Also note that most of these cards will sport a RJ-45 connector for the management interface. Be sure to read up on the documentation as to whether or not that's a *network* port, or a *serial* port. (If you find a model of card that allows the port to be network-connected, make sure it's using SSH!

I've seen my share of dead systemboards because someone put an ether net cable where it shouldn't have been.
