PXE or External CD/DVD Drive

Short of getting an external USB CD or DVD drive, there are references out there on using PXE. Your Windows system would have to have ftp and dhcp services running to do it.

Here's one of many links.

From a quick search, it seems like the best thing for you to do is get a CD/DVD reader.

No need to mess with PXE if your computer is capable of booting from a USB flash drive. If it isn't then as already suggested the easiest method would be to get an optical drive.

BTW PXE is a way to boot a computer via a network adapter. The operating system is loaded via a server. Your network adapter must have that capability but IMO something that is probably a little difficult for a newbie to setup.
