Remote Desktop for Ubuntu 14.04 and Windows 7 double boot

Hi there, this is my software configuration now. I have Windows 7 as a "primary" OS. I also installed Ubuntu 12.04 and then upgraded it to Ubuntu 14.04. It is my desktop.I also have a laptop with Ubuntu of unknown version at this point. When I turn my desktop with dual boot on, it first boots to a Ubuntu GRUB where I can choose to either stay with Ubuntu or switch to Win 7 . I want to use Ubuntu laptop to do Remote Desktop for both Operating Systens. Is it doable? Thanks, A.

You should already have an RD client on the Ubuntu laptop that you can use to connect to the Windows side of the desktop. I'm not aware of an RD server on Linux, but that's mostly because I've never looked, I have yet to find something I can't do through an ssh connection instead. You can set up a VNC server on the Ubuntu side of your desktop if you absolutely must have a graphical connection.

Thank you, suicidaleggroll, I may have additional questions later. A.

At a time only one OS runs, so using a RD for both os doesn't makes sense.
