Remote Desktop Connection(control) for Linux!!!(VNC-Virtual Network computing)!!!

Hi All,

I am looking for Remote Desktop, one like in Windows XP like remote desktop connection for Linux. How can I control virtually my Windows, Linux from each other platform, either via net or on LAN on same subnet?

I am new to Linux, so advice me all the possibilities.

You've answered your own question, get VNC for linux, it works great.

You can also use SSH -secure shell server to get console access to the machine.

This is what linux is *made* for -- to be a server for other clients.

You can also log into X-Windows (and a desktop environment or windowmanager). Just do a search :)
