Remote console
Hey guru's
Is there a way to enable sharing of the console on RH. I have a server in Datacenter and would like to see what's running on the console.
Is there a way to make this happen.
Thanks

you mean you want to start a console applicatino and be ableto connect to it and see it from other locations? look at the "screen" program, that'll sort you out no problem.

No, I'm looking for somthing which will allow me to access the console of the server remotley. on the network. So if I have 10 users, they all will be able to access the same console and will be able to see the same output and info.
Basically I'm trying share the output which the system is sending to tty 0 to multiple users.

If the users have permissions to read /dev/tty0 then they should just be able to cat it.

if you want to see X sessions running on a server look into vnc. if you want to share a console, then as david_ross says, just cat it.
