remote accessing Windows XP from Fedora 11
System Spec:
Fedora 11 - Gnome - TigerVNC Windows XP Pro - TightVNC now i've installed vnc server on the windows xp and easily enough i'm remoting to it like a breeze :) ...my problem is, i have to login to Windows and Run the VNC Server inorder for me to be able to remote to it... although i added the VNC Server to startup programs, if the WinXP is locked (screen saver or haven't login from bootup) i can't remote to it... 1) is there a way of accessing Windows native remote tool? or is there other alternative softwares that would let me bypass this? 2) how can i enable copy and paste in both directions from Fedora 11 (at the moment i can copy and paste onto the XP Machine but can't the reverse way) cheers for any help |
Have you considered using rdesktop? Enable RDP connection in Windows and it will be there at startup.
