This might be a dumb questions...but i see at the bottom of some posts that some of u folks r registered linux do i register?

you can register you machine as well...
most people have a list to the site if they have their # in their sig, as does s34n

...U remembered to copy the picture that has your number to HD? It'll give you a great look into your desktop wallpapers..

Thanks for the information on the Linux Counter website. The desktop wallpaper idea is a good one too.
