Refuses to connect to wireless WiFi.

Comes back with RF kill as reason. How do I activate RF on the wireless?

Assuming I'm interpreting your question correctly, run the following as root.
Code:

rfkill unblock all
You can see the status with:
Code:

rfkill list all
HTH,

Evo2.

To help you diagnose this, we need more information.

What make/model computer, what type of wireless chipset, what distro/version Linux, what network manager?

In addition to Evo2's suggestion, you might look in /var/log/messages (assuming that
your distro puts the log files in the usual place) to see whether there are any error messages related to the wireless. You may have to be root to do this.
