Dude, you will need to say which Desktop Environment/Window Manager you are using (KDE, GNOME, XFCE, LXDE, ...), and in which application you want to see that refresh button. Is it on the desktop itself?

If you talking about your web browser, try the arrow next to the URL box.

web browser firefox is ctrl+r for refresh too.

I use "MATE Desktop" and my Window Manager is "Caja".

What exactly do you want to refresh? That would be the obvious answer, but it might be best to be specific.

By the by, F5 usually refreshes the browser Window and, depending on your file manager, the file manager also.
