Refomating


Ok, I am trying to reformat my hard drive on my Linux box, its runing on of the recent Red Hat but the version I can't tell you at the moment, Also note I have no clue where my Red Hat CD is could some inform me on how I go about reformating my Linux box?

use mkfs to format a partition, use cfdisk or parted to make a partition. use both with care.

Ok, I am not even sure how to use this I am a Major Linux novice, and understand only the bare bare bare basics, ok useing mkfs can you please tell me I type mkfs /dev/hdc? X.x
