Redundant Proxy Servers or Clusters
 

Hi there,

I am a bit of a :newbie: to Linux but am discovering fast that this is a hot operating system!!:)

I was wondering if anyone could answer the following for me? I am looking to implement 2 Linux boxes using Suse 8.1, these boxes will be used as a proxy server that will hopefully query a Novell 6 LDAP Database. Not asking to much am I? I would also like these servers to be redundant so if one fails the other can still resolve requests for Internet access.

Could anyone please tell me if this is possible and if so how could I do this, your help would be much appreciated?
