RedHat9 login/password
 

I installed Linux Red Hat 9 and when I boot it up it asks for a login and password. The problem is i dont know what the login is because i never entered one, and when I type one in to see if it would accept and login it says that its not the right login. can anyone help me out?

When you installed rhl it prompts if you would like to create a login. If you skipped that, then the only login available is root. Also during installation it asked you to enter the adminsitrative password. That is root's password. So at login type root for username and your administrative password for password. Once in X you can add users.

Btw, yes your distribution does matter, please change it to Red Hat Linux 9...;)
